Comfortable Hearing Protection

The Alpine Formula 1 Earplugs were purchased for use at an IndyCar race. I was skeptical when I first placed them in my ears, thinking they would be uncomfortable, ineffective, or would easily fall out. Much to my surprise, they were comfortable, easy to insert, stayed in place, and provided a filter to the engine noise. I could still converse easily with my wife, who also used the earplugs. A connection cord helps prevent the risk of losing the plugs should they fall out. Comes with a carrying case. These earplugs are easily recommended.

Gently pull the ear up slightly. Carefully insert the earplugs into your ear canal and gently press them in for comfort and firmness. Make sure they are fully inserted for optimum noise attenuation.

The difference is that earplugs are placed directly in the ear canal to muffle sound, while the racing earmuffs are worn over the ears like headphones. In addition, the earplugs are more compact to carry around.

These earplugs are made of soft, silicone-free material that shapes itself to your ear canal and is always comfortable.

These earplugs are only available in a standard size that fits most adults. If you need a child size or one for even smaller ears, the Racing Earmuffs are better suited.

We recommend cleaning the earplugs regularly with water and a mild detergent to keep them fresh and working properly.
