Pull your ear up slightly. Place the earplugs in your ear canal and press in until they are comfortable and secure. At the end of the earplug is a mini-grip, which you can use to easily pull the earplug out of your ear.

The difference is in usage and attenuation. The MotoSafe Race MotoGP™ earmuffs offer 26dB attenuation and are placed over the ears quickly and easily. The earplugs offer 20dB attenuation and must be inserted more carefully. On hot days, earplugs are often more comfortable than earmuffs. However, both provide good hearing protection.
